Comment of the week: Take a look at the worst National League hitters by OPS over the past 30 days. There are a couple decent hitters in there, but it’s mostly glove-first guys. The bottom four in the American League are all purported sluggers making, in aggregate, $78.25 million this year.

Also, Colorado’s Jonathan Gray is third in the league in fielding independent pitching and third to worst in ERA over the past 30 days.
