This entry lists the best and worst for the past 30 days of the 2017 regular season, through games of Sunday, July 30. Here is an explanation of this weekly feature.

Comment of the week: This may be the last time this season that Clayton Kershaw has sufficient innings over 30 days to qualify for league leadership. So let’s enjoy his rightful spot atop all the National League rate leaderboards. Also, I don’t remember, in my years of doing this, every seeing guys with a last name starting with an dominating a 30-day period the way they have in the American League OPS race over the past 30 days.
